Dalton Ranch Golf Club is home to the Research and Development Center for Tom Wishon Golf Technology. Tom Wishon is a well known design engineer in the golf equipment industry who has written 8 books and hundreds of magazine articles all on the technology of golf club design and custom clubfitting. He is a member of the Golf Digest magazine Technical Advisory Panel, is the Technical Advisor to the PGA of America’s web site, and has designed original custom golf club models which have been used to win on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour and in Ryder Cup competition by players such as Ben Crenshaw, Payne Stewart, Scott Verplank and Bruce Lietzke.

Wishon Golf’s R&D Center is equipped with a state-of-the-art Trackman launch monitor, a SAM PuttLab electronic putting analysis unit, testing robot and a full custom clubmaking workshop. The R&D Center is located on the northeast corner of the Dalton Ranch
driving range.

While the TWGT R&D Center is a private facility owned by Wishon Golf to conduct their golf club design development, Dalton Ranch members and golfers may book an appointment for a custom fitting analysis. Individual custom clubfitting appointments may be reserved by contacting the Dalton Ranch pro shop.
